The Governor recently
announced additional funding for those home owners and small businesses
impacted by both Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee as well as Super
storm Sandy. Those who have not been reimbursed for all of the costs
associated with rebuilding or recovering from these storms can find more
information in regards to these programs at www.NYSandyHelp.ny.gov
or by calling 1-855-NYS-Sandy. Those with flood damage from Irene and Lee are able to
apply for these funds as well. Home owners and business owners will
apply directly online through the above mentioned website. If you need
assistance with the applications, please let either Alicia Terry or Sarah Blood know. After your
application is complete, you will be contacted by a Case Worker who will
help you through the entire process. If you are aware of anyone I may have missed on this email,
please feel free forward this email. These flood recovery funds are
also available to farms.
